Prior to your move in day, you will receive a welcome letter which will include utility set up instructions and additional information. On your move-in day, all move-in costs must be paid in full prior to receiving your keys. You will stop by the leasing office to pick up your keys and complete a move-in inspection checklist within 48 hours.
Prior to move-out, please ensure your apartment is clean with no damages. You will return all keys and access cards to a member of the staff. Your security deposit will be processed within 30 days per state law.
Yes, a security deposit is required at Dakota at Druid Hills. The security deposit amount is determined based on the results of your credit screening. Deposits start at $300 and may increase up to two times the monthly rent, depending on the screening outcome. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Your deposit is refundable, minus any deductions for cleaning, carpet replacements, and damages beyond normal wear and tear. Refunds are processed within 30 days of move-out per applicable state law.
All residents must maintain renter's insurance with a minimum liability coverage of $100,000. Proof of coverage must be provided prior to or at move-in. We also offer coverage through Foxen.

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $200 will be applied if rent is not received by 4th.
In addition to monthly rent, residents are responsible for utilities (billed based on usage), common area electric $3 - $10 pet fees/rent$25, and utility service fee $6.50.
Early termination is possible with 60 days written notice. An early termination fee equal to one months rent will apply. Please review your lease or contact our office.
